As in previous years, LaTIM members represented the EVIRED consortium at MICCAI, the premier conference on AI for medical image analysis.
- Rachid Zeghlache presented his latest work on longitudinal retinal image analysis and chaired an engaging oral session on the MARIO challenge, focused on the longitudinal analysis of retinal OCT images, and organized by EVIRED.
- At the same time, Gwenolé Quellec chaired another oral session on the DIAMOND challenge, which focused on predicting the onset of diabetic macular edema using ultrawide-field fundus photography. This session, also organized by EVIRED and sponsored by Zeiss, was supported remotely by Mostafa El Habib Daho.
Both challenge events provided excellent opportunities to promote the EVIRED project within the medical AI community. Naturally, we made sure to explore the beautiful city of Marrakesh!
