We were delighted to attend the exciting and rewarding EURETINA 2025 meeting in Paris, held from September 4–7.
The congress was filled with informative presentations, inspiring conversations, and valuable exchanges from across the world.
The EviRed team was proudly represented with several scientific contributions:
- Pascale Massin (top of the photo) presented the baseline data of the EviRed (Evaluation Intelligente de la Rétinopathie Diabétique) cohort.
- Carla Danese (left of the photo) shared her study on “The effect of new antidiabetic drugs on one-year change of OCT-A metrics.”
- Patrizio Bernardinelli (not in the photo) presented an e-poster: “Comparative Analysis of Optos and Clarus Devices in Neovascularization and Diabetic Retinopathy Grading in the EviRed Study.”
- Abir Zureik (right of the photo) presented an e-poster: “Evolution of ophthalmological care in adults with diabetes in France between 2010 and 2022: a nationwide study.”
This strong representation highlights the richness and diversity of the EviRed project.
The conference addressed the retinal diseases from multiple perspectives: medical, imaging, clinical research, treatments, surgery; and above all, questioning and discussing the rising role of artificial intelligence in this field.
Such a diverse scope enabled enriched discussions and broadened our vision of future innovations.
We return from Euretina2025 inspired, motivated, and already looking forward to next year’s meeting!
